On-Campus Orientation

A program designed to familiarize you with the campus, faculty, and first-year coursework. Look for specifics about the program in the July 18 email. In the meantime, here's a preview:

Week of August 11–15

Small Group Orientation Sessions. All new students must attend a small Small Group Orientation Sessions. The Small Group is scheduled by First Year section (1–4) as follows:

When you receive the Friday, July 18 Online Orientation email, you will be asked to select your time slot.

Monday & Tuesday, August 18 & 19

Opening Week Orientation. Two mandatory sessions from 5 pm to 9 pm. Sessions which will include the first meeting of the Writing and Representation: Advice and Persuasion (WRAP) course, an introduction to faculty teaching first-year courses, and a fair with representatives from Student Organizations.

Wednesday, August 20

On Your Own. A day for new students to tie up any loose ends, finish first assignments, or whatever else they would like to accomplish before law school starts.

Also opening week: You will be assigned a time (Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday) to meet briefly with Information Technology staff. Here you will have your photo taken to produce your student ID card, and configure your laptop to join the Mitchell wireless network.
