Pre-Law/Law School Prep Courses
For those interested in law school or recently admitted
Think you might be interested in law school but want to know more about it? Or, have you been admitted to William Mitchell College of Law but are uneasy about attending classes? William Mitchell offers two summer courses that can help.
Summer Partnership in Law
If you're a college student or graduate and thinking about attending law school, check out SPIL. During SPIL, you'll learn about the law and law school by taking classes on the American legal system and legal reasoning and writing. The course is taught by the associate dean of Multicultural Affairs or a William Mitchell College of Law faculty member and may count for undergraduate credit.
Summer Enrichment Program
The Summer Enrichment Program offers students already admitted to William Mitchell the chance to get a step ahead in their first year of law school. SEP provides an intensive orientation to the school through a regular law school course for credit, indoctrination into primary legal resources, such as the Warren Burger Library, and introduction to important study and exam skills.
